Accessibility statement

The United Kingdom National Work-Stress Network is dedicated to providing as much information as possible in the most accessible way possible to as many people as possible. This website has been designed with this goal and we hope we have acheived it.

Site features

We Do

Use plain, easy to read text like Verdana, Arial or a sans-serif font

Keep a good contrast between text and background

Make sure the font can be re-sized by the user

Use CSS, Cascading Style Sheets to layout the pages, to avoid having hundreds of elements on one page, which is also known as "tag soup".

Clearly defined links so you can easily move around the pages

People who do not use a mouse can still move around the site using keyboard strokes

We Don't

Use moving text (marquee) or graphics

Surprise you with pop-up screens

Use tables for presentation, only for presenting data

We do check each page using an automated validator, but the proof of our site is when you use it. If you have any problems using this site or wish to make any observations then please contact the Network Coordinator Bob Woods using this link.
